Treffler Lake Wilderness camp is a 30 minute flight by float plane east of Whitehorse. Surrounded by the Pelly and Boswell Mountains, this pristine and special setting offers an abundance of wildlife, including Cow Moose with calves, Otters, Beavers and Loons. Bald Eagles and Trumpeter Swans are occasional visitors to the lake as well.
Treffler Lake offers excellent fishing opportunities for Grayling and medium-sized Lake Trout. There are two smaller lakes adjacent to Treffler lake with good Grayling fishing. A one day fishing trip within 30 minutes range of the float plane can take you to a beautiful lake offering Grayling, Lake Trout, Whitefish and Northern Pike.
There are well established trails leading from the camp in all directions offering access to Boswell River, Teslin River, and Indian River. Breathtaking high elevation views of the Teslin River Valley are within reach.
